U.S. Rep. Lee Terry (R-Nebr.)
announced today key campaign personnel and the
opening of an Omaha headquarters in his race for
reelection to Congress in the 2 nd congressional
district.
“I have been working hard to represent my constituents
the past six years and I look forward to having
the opportunity to do so for another two years
if reelected this November. As the campaign season
begins, I am delighted to have a young and aggressive
staff in place who will help spread our message
and record throughout the 2nd district,” Terry
said. Key campaign staff includes:

David Boomer as campaign manager. Boomer, 47,
is a project consultant from Lincoln who has 25
years of professional experience managing Republican
campaigns in Nebraska and Connecticut . In the
mid 1970s, Boomer served on the staffs of U.S.
Rep. John Y. McCollister and U.S. Senator Carl
T. Curtis and previously served a term as state
chairman of the Nebraska Teenage Republicans.
He has a B.A. degree from the University of Hartford,
West Hartford, Conn.

Jennifer Fulcher as finance director. Jennifer
is a fund-raising professional and worked previously
as a broker for Salomon Smith Barney. She and
her husband, Joe, reside in Omaha . Fulcher has
a B.A. degree in political science from California
State University —Northridge and is pursuing an
M.A. in communications from the University of
Nebraska at Omaha.

Christopher “Kip” Murphy as field director. Kip
comes to the Terry campaign after serving as field
director of the Nebraska Republican party the
past two years. He has extensive campaign experience
in Nebraska and will be tasked with developing
Terry's grass-roots volunteer organization throughout
the district. He is a 1988 graduate of the University
of Nebraska — Lincoln .

Sabrina Lakin as deputy finance director. Sabrina
is a 2002 graduate of the University of St. Thomas
in St. Paul , Minn. , and recently worked in sales
for Metro Monthly. She was born and raised in
Omaha .

Mary Wellendorf as comptroller. Mary tracks receipts
and expenditures as well as assures compliance
with all regulations of the Federal Election Commission
(FEC). Her husband, Dan, managed Terry's first
race for Congress in 1998. They reside in Omaha
with their two daughters, Brook and Amanda.

is open for business and is located at Westwood
Plaza, 2819 S. 125th Avenue, Suite 353, in Omaha

The second
congressional district includes all of Douglas
county and portions of Sarpy county. Terry was
reelected to a third term in Congress in November
2002 with 63 percent of the vote.
