Congressman's
campaign raises $273,000 during 1st Quarter of
2004
U.S. Rep. Lee Terry’s
campaign is reporting $648,000 in cash-on-hand
in their April 15th filing with the Federal Election
Commission.
“We are very pleased to report the campaign
has banked $648,000. This will enable us to take
the congressman’s message to all the voters
of Nebraska’s second district,” said
David Boomer, Terry’s campaign manager.
During the past
quarter, Terry’s campaign raised $273,000
and spent $67,000.
The FEC report
covers receipts and expenditures for the period
of January 1, 2004 through March 31, 2004.
For the entire
2004 campaign cycle, Terry’s campaign has
raised $706,000 and spent $272,000. Surplus funds
from the prior election cycle of approximately
$215,000 were transferred to the current account
early in 2003.
Terry’s report
was filed electronically today with the Federal
Election Commission in Washington, D.C.
